Entrata, ancora ragazza, nel <span style=\"color:#993300;\">monastero delle Carmelitane di Lisieux<\/span>, pratic\u00f2 in modo singolare l\u2019umilt\u00e0, la semplicit\u00e0 evangelica e l\u2019abbandono in Dio. Insegn\u00f2 instancabilmente queste virt\u00f9  alle novizie, con la parola e con l\u2019esempio. Ricolmata della scienza dell\u2019amore divino, il <span style=\"color:#ff00ff;\">9 giugno 1895<\/span> si offr\u00ec come \u201cv<span style=\"color:#993366;\">ittima di olocausto all\u2019Amore Misericordioso<\/span>\u201d. <span style=\"color:#ff0000;\"><strong>Mor\u00ec<\/strong><\/span> il <span style=\"color:#ff00ff;\">30 settembre 1897<\/span>, consacrando la sua vita per la salvezza delle anime e l\u2019incremento della Chiesa. Pio XI l\u2019ha canonizzata nel <span style=\"color:#ff00ff;\">1925<\/span> e proclamata Patrona delle missioni nel <span style=\"color:#ff00ff;\">1927<\/span>.
