Eliot<\/span>,<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Dylan Thomas<\/span>, <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Wystan Hugh Auden<\/span>,<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"> Ezra Pound<\/span>, <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Elizabeth Bishop<\/span> <span style=\"color: #008080;\">guardarono a<\/span> <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Gerard Manley<\/strong> <strong>Hopkins<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #993366;\"><span style=\"color: #008080;\">come a una sorta di <\/span><strong><em>precursore<\/em><\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #993366;\"><span style=\"color: #008080;\">del loro modo di <strong>fare<\/strong><\/span> <strong>poesia<\/strong><\/span>.<\/li>\n<li><em><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u201c<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Nella poesia di <\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Hopkins<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">fiammeggiano la grandezza e la gloria di <\/span><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Dio<\/span> <\/span><span style=\"color: #800080;\">i<\/span><span style=\"color: #800080;\">n una lamina d\u2019oro percossa, si addensano e inesorabilmente si espandono in un gocciolio, nonostante noi non smettiamo di calpestare la sacralit\u00e0 del mondo, non avvertendo pi\u00f9 nemmeno il<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"> timore<\/span> di<\/span><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> Dio<\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">. <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Ma non per questo la natura \u00e8 spenta<\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">. <\/span><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Hopkins<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\"> \u00e8 convinto che se anche svanisse l\u2019ultima luce, in fondo alle cose vive la freschezza pi\u00f9 cara e il mattino sorge comunque, perch\u00e9 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Dio<\/span> non smette mai di amare tutto quanto ha creato, spingendo l\u2019uomo ad amarlo<\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\"> \u201c<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">con tutto il cuore, con tutta l\u2019anima e con tutta la mente<\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u201d. \u201c<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Perch\u00e9 lo <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Spirito Santo<\/span> sopra il curvo<\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">\/ <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">mondo cova con caldo petto e con, ah, luminose ali<\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u201d <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">come canta il poeta.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>Hopkins scorge nella realt\u00e0 la bellezza come energia vitale di origine divina, come manifestazione cio\u00e8 della grandezza di Dio, che deve essere riconosciuta e che la natura loda attraverso le sue meraviglie, innalzando gloria a Dio<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li>\u201cIncontrare la bellezza \u00e8 nell&#8217;ordine delle cose e non occorre alcuna speculazione razionale: basta saperla riconoscere, attraverso la sua improvvisa epifania, come dolce dono del cielo, godere la sua freschezza, amando \u201c<strong><span style=\"color: #003300;\"><em>le cose d\u2019amore pi\u00f9 degne<\/em><\/span><\/strong>\u201d, \u201c<em><span style=\"color: #003300;\"><strong>il s\u00e9 dell\u2019uomo<\/strong><\/span><\/em>\u201d che \u201c<span style=\"color: #003300;\"><em><strong>splende dalla forma e dal volto<\/strong><\/em><\/span>\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201c<strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">La <span style=\"color: #33cccc;\">Beata Vergine<\/span> paragonata all&#8217;aria che respiriamo<\/span><\/strong>\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"color: #333300;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;\">Per il poeta e per l\u2019uomo <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Hopkins<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;\">, come per ogni uomo dovrebbe essere, <\/span><span style=\"color: #33cccc;\"><strong>Maria<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;
